Dame Munni Irone stated, “Aiming to establish human rights across the globe, there is a need to start thinking beyond boundaries.” In the world, everyone should have the same rights and opportunities in the system. As every year on Human Rights Day, it's been talked about for years. There are seminars, discussions, and voices raised to protect human rights on different platforms worldwide. The Art 4 Peace Awards is not a political or religious institution. We are working with politicians to bring them to conscience so they can be conscience leaders. The hallmark of their events has been its thrust to empower the different sections of the society especially the talented and the unsung heroes.

 The core objective of the Zurich event was to give a big fillip to the promotion of Brand Bharat overseas, and a showcase of country's timeless rich, and diverse cultural heritage before a global audience.

With the objective of hailing and promoting the spirit of “Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat”, the event had myriad components comprising Bharat Gaurav Samman (Award for Leadership & Excellence in different categories), Swadeshi Manch (Cultural extravaganza), Swadeshi Wellness by Health and Wellness Guru Dr Mickey Keki Mehta, Swadeshi Connect (B2B Meeting) followed by Indian traditional dance performances and Swadeshi Parade (Fashion Show by Rina Dhaka).

 The Chief Guest of the Special Conclave on 21stNovember’21 was MoS (External Affairs and Culture) Meenakshi Lekhi who connected with the august gathering through Video conferencing from India. 

 Having won accolades for hosting spectacular events the world over, Confluence NGO has been promoting the diverse cultural legacy of the country.

 As part of the much-awaited "Swadeshi Parade", there was a surprise sequence themed “The Soul of Banaras”. The highlight of this was the launch of a 100% Swadeshi Fashion Label named “Smita”. The Bespoke Swadeshi Fashion Show was choreographed by Sandeep Soparkar and presented by Bollywood model Simran Ahuja.

 The Global movement of Bharat Mahotsav @ Zurich was successful in promoting the Best of India on the global forum, thus paving the way for the opening of new frontiers for all those associated with the event. Confluence and Dikha Khadi to participate in the World Known “Hollywood Tribute® Awards & Oscars Viewing” a Luxury Gala screening the Oscars®, After Party & Gifting Suite on Sunday, Feb 09, 2020 at the Luxurious Beverly Hilton, Beverly Hills, California the site of the Golden Globes with attendance by over 100 stars.

As the world celebrates Mahatma Gandhi's anniversary and that it is celebrated with all his messages all over India, his teachings and message are all relevant today. And on the Environment, we recognizes Khadi as a zero footprint fabric, Cleanliness, Women Empowerment and many more. His teachings on The Non-violence is the greatest force at the disposal of mankind. It is mightier than the mightiest weapon of destruction.

Confluence honoured with an opportunity to participate at the " Hollywood Tribute® Awards & Oscars Viewing" with Art4Peace on Sunday 09 February 2019 with a special tribute & celebration to Mahatma Gandhi with participation by Hollywood stars and to promote Khadi as the most universal fabric and the natural fiber which has zero carbon emission.

The textile industry is the second largest pollutant of the world after Auto Industry which are affecting the global warming and the Climate Change, health problems including skin cancer using artificial fibers such as polyesters, rayon, etc. and using chemical dyes. The Fashion Designers have to start visualizing the future of the Textile industry and fashion with no chemicals and change their mindset by using cleaner natural dyes and natural fabrics.

Hollywood Tribute® Awards & Oscars Viewing acknowledged that Confluence is working towards the unsung geometry of weavers. To become the voice of the voiceless and create a periphery for the gentry to take the plunge in the mainstream market Decades of Poorly implemented protection policies and the growth of power loom imitations has led to the slow rising yarn prices, falling employment opportunities, declining wage rates, shrinking Markets and idling looms, Indian weavers have nobody to take up cudgels on their behalf.

On January 2019 falls the 15th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas. GOPIO in collaboration with Confluence plans to celebrate this day in Banaras by organizing a two day event which were included cultural programs, exhibition and a fashion show. It was celebrated the contribution of People of Indian Origin to the development of Indian society. It was also commemorate the integrity of the overseas Indian diaspora with the development of India. The celebration were not limit itself to the cultural events but was also be an interface between the POIs and the Indians residing in the country. There were UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the convention on 19th January in the presence of Tourism Minister, Industries Minister and other dignitaries from UP. External Affairs Minister Smt. Sushma Swaraj was the Chief Guest at the valedictory function on 20th January. Union Tourism Minister Mr. Alphons Kannanthanam and Ministers from Other States along with dignitaries were grace the occasion.

GOPIO delegates and Ambassadors from different countries have corned to grace this high level meet and Confluence news partners from different media had published and telecast this event nation-wide.

Confluence organized on November 14 on the eve of children’s day. Children from different outskirts participated in a painting competition on the theme 'Nature'.

Confluence organized its third event at the PHD Chambers of Commerce on November 14 in collaboration with the PHD Family Welfare foundation. Children associated with various NGOs like - Divya Chaya Trust, Chetna, stand and stride participated in a painting competition. The participants visited the Rail Museum in the morning organized by Confluence. The theme of the painting competition was inspired from nature. Guests of Honour on the occasion was Mrs. Anuradha Goel - President, PHD Family Welfare Foundation; Mr. Vidyun Goel - Founder, TOYBANK; Mr. Pankaj Sharma - Senior Producer, Aajtak; Ms. Gita Dhawan - District Chairman, Inner Wheel and Mrs. Smita Shrivastav, Founder & President, Confluence. Both organizer's Mrs. Anuradha Goel and Mrs. Smita Shrivastav gave away the prizes to the winners along with other guests of honour. Muni Jayant Kumar Ji was the Chief Guest for the event. He appreciated the talent that the participants showcased during the painting competition.
